National Symposium on Electrochemistry
in
Materials and Devices

(NSEMD-2018)

Sept. 28th – 29th 2018

Bhavnagar, INDIA

Last date of abstract submission extended to September 10, 2018 | Request for registration & accommodation extended to September 10, 2018

Aims and Objectives

Electrochemistry is a challenging still fascinating branch of chemistry. It’s wings are spread in various fields like physics, chemistry, materials science, biology, medicine, health sciences, environmental sciences, forensic science and several more. In combination with the basic concepts of electrochemistry and materials science different important technologies have been developed, which includes, electrochemical energy conversion and storage technologies, sensing and actuation technologies, molecular electronics, electrochromism, electrometallurgy and many more. Therefore the synergy of materials and electrochemistry can pave the way towards sustainable development.

About CSIR-CSMCRI

CSIR-Central Salt & Marine Chemicals Research Institute (CSIR-CSMCRI) at Bhavnagar is a constituent R&D laboratory of Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), New Delhi. CSIR-CSMCRI is known for its contribution and achievements in the area of salt and water technologies, catalysis, material science, inorganic material, phycology and waste management processes. The existing synergy of electrochemistry and materials science at CSIR-CSMCRI has been testified by the development of technologies and devices like electro-active materials for batteries and fuel cells, sensor, pervaporation membranes, gas separation membranes etc. We have technologies on electro-active membranes and cost effective plastic electrodes..
